This page explains what you may do with the songs you create on Suno AI Music (https://sunoai-music.com). It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. The license is granted by the operator of Suno AI Music ("we", "us").

1. Songs generated on a paid plan

For every song you generate while you have an active paid subscription or paid credit purchase, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly perform and monetize that song, including to:

  • publish it in monetized videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and similar platforms;
  • use it in advertising, podcasts, films, games, apps and live events;
  • deliver it as part of work for your clients;
  • release it on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming and download stores, directly or through a distributor.

These rights continue after your subscription ends or is cancelled, for all songs generated while the paid plan was active. Downloads, edits (extend, replace section, covers, stems, WAV export) and music videos made from a paid-plan song are covered by the same license.

2. Songs generated on the Free plan

Songs generated on the Free plan may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes only, such as listening, sharing with friends or posting to non-monetized personal accounts. Upgrading to a paid plan does not extend the commercial license to songs generated before you upgraded. To use a Free-plan idea commercially, generate it again while on a paid plan.

3. What you provide

The license covers the music we generate for you. It does not grant rights in material you supply. You must own or have permission to use any lyrics, audio uploads, reference tracks, images or voice recordings you submit. Covers, remixes and extensions of audio you upload are only licensed to the extent you hold the rights to the original material.

4. Limits and your responsibilities

  • Do not present a song as performed or endorsed by a real artist, or use an artist's name or voice likeness without their permission.
  • Do not use songs for unlawful, defamatory, hateful or infringing content.
  • AI-generated music may resemble existing works, and the license is non-exclusive. We do not guarantee that a song is unique, free of third-party claims, or eligible for copyright registration in your country. You are responsible for checking a song before a commercial release and for resolving any content-ID or distribution disputes.

5. Changes

We may update this page. Changes apply to songs generated after the change takes effect and never reduce the rights already granted for songs you generated earlier.
